Personal Brand (not to be confused with reputation) allows an agent to stand out. So they don't have to compete.
It shines a light on values, beliefs and convictions. Character, rather than competence. Who you are, as opposed to what you do. It is, in my opinion, essential for any estate agent.
How that personal brand is conveyed is through story. The story that only you can tell. Facts & figures are soon forgotten. Stories - we remember.

Started off in Franchise Recruitment for a small London agency. Pretty soon realised that they didn't have franchisee training in place and so put together a training program for new recruits.
Started Agency Negotiation, a service to help vendors choose the best estate agency. Based on k.p.i's and marketing appreciation, I negotiated the instruction on behalf of the vendor to achieve the best possible outcome for both sides.
Finally poacher turned gamekeeper, I realised that the best agents weren't able to differentiate themselves from the mediocre agents. Other than through shouting ever louder. All agents were perceived the same and not well trusted by the consumer. So, I founded a Personal Brand service to help agents differentiate themselves in their community.
