20 agents recruited by Hub-style agency even before official launch

A new branch of Keller Williams UK - operating from a so-called market centre office rather than a traditional shopfront branch - says it’s recruited 20 agents even before its official launch.

The Essex operation, known as Keller Williams Plus, was formally launched at the start of the weekend but its operating principal - Mark Readings - says it is already exceeding expectation.

Over 20 new agents had already been recruited as partners across Essex and many were already listing and selling properties ahead of the formal launch, he said.

“This business is about its people and the Keller Williams family and helping them to be the best agents they can possibly be. Consequently they provide exceptional service to their clients because they are highly financially motivated” he said at the launch.

“Keller Williams is as much a training organisation as a real estate company and this focus is already adding a significant edge to the performance of our agents in terms of prospecting, fee justification and overall conversion. I could not be more delighted with the fast and productive start that we have had to launching this business” he continued.

Readings - who was the founder of the UK’s first ever online agency, House Network - is operating the Keller Williams franchise in Essex along with his sister Claire and industry veterans Russell and Anthony Quirk.

The "training", if agents aren't aware, is nothing more than putting systems in place to do more cold-calls, more door-knocking and more interruption of homeowners. The 33 Touch and 8x8 KW campaigns are described by the company as "overkill, over time." Just what the homeowner needs. The Impertinence of a KW agent that has been 'trained' to beg for business from anybody with a warm pulse.
