Zoopla revamps membership package to woo SME agents

Zoopla has announced what it calls a ‘redesign’ of its membership packages – the first in seven years.

The number two portal claims the redesign offers what smaller agents have called for – more flexibility, a hyperlocal approach and a greater return on investment.

It says the new packages result from input by hundreds of agents across the country, who told Zoopla they wanted products that were closely aligned with their business goals.

The result is new packages – Listing, Instruction and Complete – with each described as being tailored to the size and profile of the individual agency, along with the dynamics of its local market, and Zoopla’s performance in that area.

Every package also includes access to the recently upgraded ZooplaPro and access to Property Valuation Reports.

Chief executive Paul Whitehead says: “Over the past year we’ve spoken with hundreds of agents across the country to understand what they need from a property platform in 2026 and beyond – their ask was greater flexibility, a hyperlocal approach and an even stronger return on investment from their marketing spend.

“These new packages have been built in partnership with our customers to deliver what they need.”

Whitehead claims the packages have contributed to some agents returning to list on Zoopla.

“We’re already seeing the results of that collaboration, with one in three SME customers upgrading in just six months. This is about growing agents’ businesses alongside our own, and making sure every pound they invest with us works harder.”

The portal claims that agents on the new packages are benefitting from total lead volume growing by 23% year on year.

And its sales pitch concludes: “Seller lead volume growth has been even higher as Zoopla unlocks greater value for agents from its fast growing homeowner subscriber base which now totals over 6 million homeowners, up 39% year on year. Many of these homeowners are actively looking to move.

“Complete Max, the best-value tier of the Complete package, is designed for agents who want to maximise the opportunity to grow their business by driving brand awareness, growing market share and winning more instructions.

“It unlocks access to Zoopla’s 6m strong homeowner audience through Prospect Plus, Zoopla’s highest-converting vendor product, which converts 43% of valuation leads to a listing over a 12-month period.”
