Female agents lead the way in Propertymark Qualifications' exams

Almost 4,000 agents have completed Propertymark Qualifications’ exams so far this year, the trade body has revealed.

The figures equate to an average of 46 agents taking its exams per day.

Commenting on the figures, head of Propertymark Qualifications, Michael Smith, said: “The needs of professionals are evolving and learners want greater flexibility and convenience in where they take their exams.”

In February, Propertymark Qualifications also announced a new Level 4 Management qualification which, by the end of May, 110 agents had already registered for and will sit exams from September 2023.

The organisation’s figures from January to the end of May also showed that female agents were leading the way in current registrations, with 38% coming from male applicants and 62% from female.

Smith added: “Qualified agents play a huge part in raising the reputation of the sector. Consumers can see they are dedicated to improving their knowledge and therefore the service they give.”

“The momentum behind those wanting to get qualified is really inspiring, and we are proud to be at the forefront of that.”
