Property Jobs Today - the inside track on who’s going where

Hello and welcome to a new week - and evenings that get darker earlier.

As winter approaches we’re continuing to bring you news of key appointments across our industry, so please let us know your jobs news. Just email press@estateagenttoday.co.uk and we’ll tell the industry.

Let’s start this week in London with news that Savills has appointed Chris Shaw to head its Notting Hill office - he was previously head of sales at boutique agency Domus Nova in the same part of the capital for seven years.

Chris also has substantial experience in London at Hamptons International and Garrington Property Finders.

“Having spent the best part of 20 years working with clients in the area I know how Notting Hill is such an exciting market to work in. I am really looking forward to working with the talented teams here, whilst bringing my own experience of the local market and helping drive Savills growth to the next level.”

Now we head west to Salisbury where Strutt and Parker has just recruited Sarah Cull to its local team.

Sarah joined a local independent agency partnership in 1998, working her way up to being a salaried partner before joining Strutt & Parker in mid-2020. Sarah knows the local area inside out, having been raised and educated in Salisbury.

Sarah said of her move “I am delighted to be joining a very dynamic office for such a trusted and long established brand.

"Already I’ve been able to achieve great sales for our clients on some beautiful properties and I am very much looking forward working hard to promote our services in the Salisbury and wider area.”

Now north for news of Daniel Hayhurst becoming the new head of the Knutsford office for Fisher German.

Daniel has more than 17 years of experience in the sector, marketing premium properties throughout the Cheshire, north Wales and Anglesey across an area spanning 120 square miles.

“Fisher German is a well-respected property consultancy with a strong reputation for dealing with properties of a certain stature.

"It also has multi-disciplinary teams, making its expertise wide and expansive, and offers a lot of opportunities for growth, so this is an excellent opportunity as I continue to progress in my career” he explains.

In the world of PropTech one of the most high profile platforms is lettings management operation Apropos by DJ Alexander - now it’s got a new head of customer experience in the shape of Richard Tierney.

For the last two years Richard has worked at Heathrow Airport handling the tricky task of engaging with government agencies regarding possible expansion.

“This is a fantastic time to be working in a sector which has become so much more important in people’s lives. Ensuring someone lives in a home they like has become much more important since the pandemic and Apropos is a firm which has the best customer care and service for its landlords and tenants at its centre” he says.

Still with tech, marketing agency Digital Munkey has hired Paul Jamieson as head of new business.

Paul has spent the previous nine years working for epropservices plc where he was regional sales manager for The Guild of Property Professionals as well as group operations manager.

“Standing out online has never been so important for estate agents and I am delighted to have the opportunity to join the Digital Munkey team and help deliver clients more website visits, more valuations and more properties” comments Paul.

Finally this week congratulations to Emma Preston who has become Eurolink’s head of new business.

Emma will be responsible for developing new business relationships and promoting Veco, Eurolink’s multi-discipline agency software.

She joins from iamsold where she served as a key account manager to Connells Group.

Prior to that, she spent three years looking after independent agents as the south east regional manager for the Guild of Property Professionals and Fine and Country.

That’s it for this week - more soon, so keep checking in and let us know your jobs news.

Until next time…
