Forget all the talk about the Oscars this spring. The most important event in our industry takes place in April at the eighth annual ESTAS ceremony to be held at the Hilton Park Lane.

The ESTAS is a unique ratings scheme where over 600,000 pieces of data are compiled from over 22,000 buyers, sellers and landlords, rating the level of customer service provided by estate and letting agents across the UK.

“Whether you are a shortlisted agent, a past winner or just attending to see what the fuss is all about, the ESTAS is a very special occasion,” says Simon Brown who runs the awards.

“Shortlisted agents are there because their clients rate them amongst the best in the country for customer service. Others come simply to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the day and come away determined to compete the following year.

“Whatever the reason, it’s an inspiring occasion because winning an ESTA is a culmination of many months of hard work, and the reaction from winners on the day says it all.”

Over 400 estate and letting agents are competing in regions across the UK as well as small, medium and national chain categories.

The ESTAS take place at the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane, London, on Friday, April 15, and are hosted by Phil Spencer.

EAT is the official media partner for the ESTAS sponsored by Zoopla in association with HomeLet, Rayner Recruitment, Moneypenny and the RICS.
