Propertymark defends Angela Rayner invitation as keynote speaker

Propertymark says its Propertymark One event last Friday was another success.

Just under 2,000 property experts from across the UK heard from former Deputy Prime Minister and Housing Secretary Angela Rayner.

A statement from the trade body afterwards said: “In keeping with Propertymark’s commitment to representing the views and concerns of property professionals, the session provided an opportunity for important questions to be put directly to a key decision-maker on a range of issues affecting agents, landlords, tenants and the wider housing market.

“… By bringing senior political figures together with property professionals, the event enabled attendees to hear directly from decision-makers, gain a better understanding of government priorities and receive answers to the questions that matter most to the sector.”

Jason Lee, Head of Commercial at Propertymark, says: “We are proud to provide a platform where important conversations can take place, where questions can be asked openly, and where our members can hear directly from policymakers and industry leaders.

“The quality of discussion throughout the day, combined with the expertise shared by our speakers, made this a hugely valuable event for everyone who attended.”
