Spicerhaart honours top-performing agents

Spicerhaart's top performers have been honoured at an awards ceremony showcasing the agency brand’s culture.

The 2024 Elevate Awards were hosted by comedian and former Britain’s Got Talent winner Axel Blake.

More than 350 people and teams received awards.

It was also revealed, to much excitement, that next year’s Elevate Trip for top performers will be to Vietnam, while a new chief executive Exclusive Achievers Club was launched for those breaking new ground with their results.

Antony Lark, joint chief executive of Spicerhaart, said: “We always reward, award and recognise our teams, incentivising them to reach new heights.

“This year, we’re doing even more, from doubling our commission to listers who achieve higher percentage fees, to our bonus-driven programmes for our Elite performers, the use of supercars, and trips abroad.  “Having recently returned from taking a top performing group on a skiing trip to France, we were delighted to announce at the Elevate Awards that our next trip will be to Vietnam in 2025, which is already inspiring and incentivising our colleagues across our business.

“We’re passionate about developing a high-performance culture and reinvesting back into our teams, with extensive career development opportunities and a supportive culture, rewarding those who go the extra mile, whatever their role in our organisation.”

John Phillips, fellow chief executive, added: “The whole day was very special, and it was great to see so many people from across the country, and to celebrate their outstanding results.

“It’s so important to recognise when people have pushed themselves and performed well. We know results don’t just happen and it takes a lot of hard work and effort from people to be consistently at the top of their game.”

The Chairman’s Award, given by Spicerhaart founder Paul Smith in his first year in the role, was presented to Emma Barber, head of training and development and chair of Spicerhaart’s Magic Moments Children’s Charity.

Smith said: “Emma’s impact extends far beyond our company's and charity's massive achievements. With boundless compassion, she has become a champion for mistreated animals across Europe, opening their heart and home to provide refuge and love to those animals in need.

“Emma is more than a recipient of an award - she is an inspiration. Her resilience in the face of adversity, her unwavering commitment to serving others, and her boundless compassion ignite a flame within us all.

“I will never tire of seeing the reaction of the winners who have contributed so much to the success of their branch and the company as a whole – we will only ever be as good as our people.”

Awards were achieved within Spicerhaart’s estate agency, lettings and financial services divisions across its seven brands – haart, Chewton Rose, Darlows, Felicity J Lord, butters john bee, Haybrook and Howards.
