Bruce gives new backing to interior design venture...

Former Purplebricks and Boomin boss Michael Bruce has taken part in a new funding round for interior design platform My Bespoke Room.

Bruce acquired the firm last year with the intention of integrating it with Boomin, which has since closed.

The platform has continued to operate independently with Bruce as its chairman.

Explaining his latest financial commitment, Bruce said on LinkedIn: “I invested in My Bespoke Room because of the people, the tech, the model and the pure and simple fact that it is the future.

“Finally everyone can save time and money, get professional help regardless of their budget and access custom-designed interiors that are tailored to their unique needs and preferences. No two designs are alike, and each client receives a truly bespoke experience.

“Having been in the property industry much of my life I am investing in My Bespoke Room’s latest round because once everyone knows about the service they will be as excited as me because it not only enhances the love for their home but can also increase its value and appeal when selling or letting.

“I am proud to be a part of this innovative company, and I look forward to seeing how they continue to evolve and grow in the years to come.”
