US artist raps about estate agency ahead of Propertymark conference

Agency media brand Made Snappy 360 has come up with a rather different way of promoting its role at the upcoming Propertymark One conference.

It has hired East Coast US rapper Keybeaux to promote the event with a rap about the role of artificial intelligence in the property market.

Estate Agent Today is unsure how many properties Mr Keybeaux has sold in the UK but he is clear in the promotional video that “Made Snappy is the name to know if you want to sell property like a pro.”

Made Snappy, which uses AI to help agents create floorplans, photo edits and virtual tours, is one of more than 50 exhibitors showcasing estate agency solutions at the event.

Ashley Rigg, director of Made Snappy and the writer behind the rap, said: “I’ve been in the industry nearly 15 years and I can’t remember anyone aiming a rap at estate agents.

“If you ask my teenagers, I’m so far away from being ‘down with the kids.’

“It’s just a bit of fun really and it’s a nice way to highlight an important industry trend as well supporting an up-and-coming artist with obvious musical talent”.

AI is set to be a big topic at the conference in Wembley Arena next week.

The AI discussion is led by Dave Garland, managing partner of Second Century Ventures which funds multiple proptech companies.

Propertymark’s Jason Lee said: “Although the role of AI in the UK property sector is a key theme for the event, it’s important to remember that it’s only useful to the extent that it frees up time for the residential agency sector to focus on what’s important: building relationships and making sales.”

Keybeaux was too expensive to fly over for the conference but limited tickets remain available.

The Propertymark One Conference and exhibition takes place at the OVO Arena at Wembley in London on Tuesday 27 June.

The event is hosted by TV and radio presenter Jenni Falconer with presentations from Dame Kelly Homes, Gerald Ratner, Kate Faulkner, Russel Quirk, Paul Shamplina and many more. More than 1,500 delegates are expected.
