Spectre unveils new software to chase lost agency fees

Agents are being offered a new tool to help them reclaim fees they are owed following a vendor’s withdrawal from the market.

Prospecting and lead generation provider Spectre has launched new fee recovery software for its users.

Spectre’s Fee Recovery software identifies the agent’s potential lost revenue through numerous data sources, highlights the opportunity in their Spectre dashboard and offers a specialist legal partner to investigate the case.

If the tool successfully retrieves a fee for the agent, a percentage fee is paid from the amount won by the agent but there is no fee if the case is unsuccessful.

It comes as research by the prospecting tool provider found one in four UK properties go on to sell within eight months of withdrawal and a further 10% of these are sold to buyers the original agent introduced.

Heather Staff, co-founder of Spectre, said: “The market is tough enough for agents right now. We built this feature to make it fairer and easier for agents to receive the money they deserve for their hard work.

“Technology like this for agents is invaluable, generating income quickly and simply from what was previously a laborious and intricate process. It’s what proptech is all about and we're so pleased to be able to offer this functionality within all our current and future customers' Spectre dashboard."
