Propertymark starts search for next leadership team

Propertymark has made its annual call for new property professionals to join its leadership team and ambassadorial positions.

The agency trade body is seeking new member elected directors for its board as well as vice presidents for its sales and lettings divisions.

The Propertymark presidential team are prominent ambassadors who have a passion for their industry. 

The successful vice presidents will enter the presidential teams in July 2023, moving into the president-elect position in 2024 and becoming president of their respective divisions in 2025, their third and final year of term.

The presidential team works closely with Propertymark to communicate the views of members they meet and the challenges they are facing, which helps the brand to evolve its member services.

The Propertymark board is predominantly made up of practitioners, their primary responsibility is to agree the strategic direction of the organisation and set the priorities and objectives.

Successful member elected directors will serve an initial four-year term on the Board. Applications are open to for two director roles, one from the sales divisions and one from lettings.

The professional body will also be recruiting a new non executive chair as Nicky Heathcote, director and chair of the Propertymark board will be standing down in the summer after last five years on the board.

Commenting on her time with Propertymark, Heathcote said: “I’m incredibly proud of my work with Propertymark and the progress the organisation has made in such a short amount of time. 

“My driving force has always been to put members at the heart of everything we do. It’s been an absolute privilege to work with talented people in such a professional body and I look forward to seeing what’s next for Propertymark.”
