Agency brand acquires London rival

Agency brand Anthony Pepe has announced the acquisition of Chamberlains Estates in Enfield.

The former owners of the Chamberlains business, Andrew Ryde and Andrew Standen, will retire and all other staff at the business will continue as part of the Hertfordshire and North London-based Anthony Pepe Group.

The acquisition strengthens the Anthony Pepe network, increasing it to five offices, and links strategically with its offices in Palmers Green and Cockfosters.

The business will continue to trade within the Anthony Pepe network, using the Chamberlains Estates brand that was first established in Enfield in 1989.

The acquisition sees the Anthony Pepe group lettings and management portfolio increase in numbers by around 20%.

The news coincides with Anthony Pepe having won four awards at the recent ESTAS.

Charlie Perdios, managing director of Anthony Pepe, said: “I am delighted that we have successfully concluded the acquisition of Chamberlains Estates and look forward to building on the well-established and professional approach and reputation that the business already has.

“Like Chamberlains Estates, we have been established over thirty years and have a successful track record that has been regularly recognised by the number of industry awards the team has secured.

“We shall bring additional resources in areas such as people, technology and marketing to both complement and improve the Chamberlains Estates operation.

“We are continuing to look to expand our business and expect to make further acquisition announcements in the near future.”
