New boss for property team brings US experience to UK

Outsourced communications business Moneypenny has appointed a new head of its property team.

Moneypenny supports 2,500 businesses in the UK property industry, including estate agents, commercial agents, housebuilders, and housing associations, and its new property head is Stephanie Vaughan-Jones.

She takes over from former head Sharon Boyle, who is now focused on developing Moneypenny’s bespoke customer team offering.

Vaughan-Jones has been part of Moneypenny since 2009 and was most recently in Atlanta in the US, on a two-year secondment as the head of business development. Before that she led Moneypenny’s health and care team in the UK and worked for several years in the property team.

Joanna Swash, chief executive of Moneypenny, saus: “Stephanie brings a wealth of experience to this role. She’s been an instrumental part of the business for the last 14 years and understands how transformative outsourced call handling and live chat support can be, especially for the property sector.  Her focus will be helping agents, housebuilders, and housing associations to improve the customer experience and free up time for their in-house teams.”

Vaughan-Jones herself adds: “The property market is facing real challenges, especially with the decline in property prices, tighter lending criteria and the effects of higher interest rates. Consequently, it’s become essential for property businesses to protect and invest in the customer experience and provide the very best support and care to those looking to buy, sell and rent.

“It’s a pivotal time for me to return to the UK property sector and show how Moneypenny can help. I’m keen to put my knowledge and experience to good use.”

Established in 2000, Moneypenny calls itself “the world's market leader for telephone answering, live chat, outsourced switchboard, and customer contact solutions.”
