Let’s start this week with online letting agency Accommodation which has announced new hires across the company.

These include Russell Gould, chief executive of Vesta Property as a Board Advisor, Georgie Harper-Wilde as Head of Build to Rent and Donna Miles as Head of Partnerships.

Another PropTech operator - Modern Method of Auction firm iamproperty - is taking on 70 new team members reaching 250 staff at its Newcastle head office and across the UK.

Recent key appointments include Kelly Stillman as Head of Operations and Georgia Hale as Customer Onboarding Specialist. James Lambert is now in post as Senior Software Developer.

Now to Spicerhaart which has taken on Sarah Thompson, former Group Financial Controller for Countrywide, into the newly created role of Head of Strategic Finance.

“Having worked on many acquisitions and integrations previously, I’m looking forward to using my expertise to help the largest independent estate agency group grow even further” she says.

Matt Clarke has been promoted to Spicerhaart’s Head of IT, having started as an IT Engineer in 2002.

The firm has a new estate agency director in Norfolk, too - it’s Rebecca Nash, who has previously worked as an area partner for the firm in Norfolk and Suffolk before her promotion.

Now to London where Strutt & Parker has announced Chris Brand as Head of the Client Services team - having held a similar position previously at Chestertons.

“I’ve always admired the Strutt & Parker brand during my career in residential property. Its quintessentially British appeal, combined with the firm’s dynamic approach to client service were key drivers for me joining the team” he says.

-

Still in the capital, and closing our jobs news this week, property management firm Lee Baron has expanded its facilities management team with two new hires, Amy Bowden and Loren Pereira.

Amy joins after three years with Propertyserve, where she primarily managed communications between the facilities management team of seven across a portfolio of 65. Loren has had four years at British Land Plc.

That’s it for this week. Enjoy the Bank Holiday and we’ll be back with more industry appointments in September. Until then…
