The Federation of Independent Agents is to hold its third ‘in person’ conference - called FIACON - this coming Friday in Milton Keynes.
It’s the federation’s first conference since lockdown and will see some 160 delegates from the membership group in attendance, along with industry suppliers and keynote speakers.
FIA founder Graham Lock says: “It’s great to get our members back into a physical location following many months of Zoom meetings which have been a good temporary solution but you can’t beat the real thing.”
For the first time FIACON will see four of its own members on stage presenting and sharing secrets with peers, passing on specific knowledge and strategies; mmuch of the knowledge centres on social media, video content and great technology.
Other keynotes at the event include the likes of Coadjute and HIPLA alongside industry names such as Stephen Brown, Paul Long and Lucy Noonan.
“We’re a unique group of high-performing independent agents, willing to share with each other for the greater good. We have a laser-focus on improving the perception of estate agency in the eyes of the general public and earning the respect that we deserve as an industry. FIACON generates so much positivity, sharing and networking opportunities between members which is only natural when top performers get together like this” says Lock.
The FIA recently grew its membership to 55 branches and now shares its brand with 43 different independent estate agencies from around the country.
Lock concludes: “Our strict entry criteria and exclusivity policy has continued to strengthen our brand throughout 2021 and with the addition of several new initiatives ready for an exciting 2022 we’ll continue to attract the best independent agents from around the country to join our group and, as we grow, the more opportunities and benefits are presented to us as a quality collective.”
