Another OnTheMarket founding agency returns to list on ZPG's two sites

ZPG has announced that it has signed a listings agreement with Chestertons, one of the estate agencies involved in the founding of Agents’ Mutual and OnTheMarket.

However, the agency has also signed a new five year deal with OTM.

Chestertons, which operates 32 offices across London, will begin to advertise all of its property listings across the ZPG platform with immediate effect; in addition to Zoopla and PrimeLocation and OTM, it will also continue to advertise on Rightmove.

Chestertons is the second OTM founder to sign up to ZPG in recent weeks following the return of Douglas & Gordon.

ZPG says it has seen hundreds of estate agent branches return to its platform following the dropping of the one-other portal rule by OTM including in recent weeks eight branches from Martin & Co., six branches from Winkworth, five branches from Warren Powell Richards, five branches from Charters and three branches from Ellis and Co.

Allan Collins, chief executive of Chestertons, says: “We’re excited to be returning to ZPG and having all of Chestertons properties listed on all four of the UK’s main property websites, which will benefit both our customers and our business.”

Meanwhile ZPG’s managing director of property, says: “We are very pleased to welcome Chestertons and many other partners back to the ZPG platform. They recognise the value we can bring to their business in terms of brand exposure and to their vendors and landlords by ensuring the maximum enquires for their properties.”

A spokesperson for OnTheMarket told Estate Agent Today this morning: "Chestertons remains a valued and supportive estate agent customer of, and shareholder in, OnTheMarket and indeed has recently chosen to sign a new five-year listing agreement with us."

Chosen to sign a new five year agreement? Don’t they mean ‘were compelled to sign’ as that’s the only way out of the OOP, this disingenuity is expected but it still sticks in the craw

Since OTM have received £30m worth of funding, we have NOT heard anything from them regarding their NEW marketing plan??? They have NOT issued any statement whatsoever in relation to their strategy? I can only see this saga falling deeper into despair!!

Don't think it will be long 'till we see OTM become another ZPG brand.
