Leaders is expanding the mortgage side of its business with a raft of new products and services, as well as introducing an in-house academy to train the next generation of mortgage experts.
Mortgage advisers now work from many of the firm’s 123 branches while the new products will be available to customers from every office, even those without direct mortgage staff.
“Our team already boasts hundreds of years of combined experience and we are still recruiting. A range of flexible working options are available to staff at our central mortgage hub, so we would like to hear from anybody interested in joining us at this exciting time” says Mark Hughes (pictured left), who joined Leaders as financial services director last month.
Leaders has also announced the creation of an academy at which it will offer training programmes to would-be mortgage brokers and administrators.
“The trainees come to the academy from a variety of backgrounds. Most are new to the mortgage industry and looking to succeed in a fast-paced and rewarding career, while some may have relevant property-related experience.
“Our academy offers full training, mentoring and an opportunity to secure industry qualifications that allow our budding brokers to move into full-time roles with all the knowledge required to deliver our services and help customers achieve their goals.”
