Agency uses hi-def video and social media marketing for each property

An estate agency is offering to radically extend its marketing approach for each of its vendors’ properties to include a high definition video and a customised social media campaign as well as traditional portal, board and brochure publicity.

Clyde Property in Edinburgh says it is the first estate agent in the UK to offer high tech digital services as standard for each and every property they market.

This will mean, as standard, a full HD property video and a social media campaign linking to a video for each home for sale, irrespective of its price or circumstances of the sale.  


Clyde Property says that the majority of agents offer “an outdated and rudimentary marketing package that has not changed greatly in the 17 years online property portals have been in existence for.”

From this month the agency is launching their three new marketing packages - all include an HD video, social media campaign, floorplans and professional photography as well as a sales brochure and listing on the firm’s own website as well as portals. 

“Recently, video marketing and social media have time and time again proven to be key factors in achieving the most successful results for clients” explains Gary Thomson (pictured top), managing director at Clyde Property.

“We have been trialling video for the past year and quickly realised that homes with video attract noticeably more interested parties. Our properties with videos have on average attracted six times more views than property without” he says.  

Clyde Property has been selling and letting property for 30 years and has 11 branches across Central Scotland.
