The RE/MAX estate agency has withdrawn a claim in one of its promotional leaflets that its representative was "the only person" who could get the best price for sellers.
The Advertising Standards Authority stepped in after receiving a complaint from an unnamed individual who wanted to know whether the claim could be substantiated by the agency.
"We approached the advertiser with our concerns. They agreed to withdraw the ad and to not repeat the claims made in the ad" says a spokeswoman for the authority.
"On this basis, we concluded that the case was informally resolved."
