Housing minister Brandon Lewis has been announced as the headline speaker at the Future: Property Tech Conference, taking place in the capital.
The event, which is being organised by Metropolitan Events, will be split into two sections with one stage focusing on residential property and the other on commercial property.
On the day there will be over 20 speakers. Accompanying the Housing Minister on the bill are a number of online estate agency's most well-known names including Michael Bruce, chief executive of Purplebricks, and Russell Quirk, founder of eMoov.
The organisers have also confirmed that there will be speakers from Countrywide and Savills, while the event will be hosted by Vanessa Warwick and Nick Tadd, the founders of Property Tribes.
A number of industry suppliers and property tech entrepreneurs will be making an appearance on the residential property stage, including Rajeev Nayaar of Fixflo, Mal McCallion of raterAgent and Paula Higgins of the Homeowners Alliance.
The Housing Minister will be speaking for around half an hour and the event's organiser, Gary Chimwa, has confirmed that there will be question and answer opportunities with all the speakers.
Chimwa is keen for estate and letting agents to attend the event. “This isn't for geeks,” he says.
“The main focus will be on the business side of things; to see how competitors are operating, giving fresh ideas on how to connect with new customers and providing a learning process for some of the industry's most innovative tools and services."
Future: Property Tech will be taking place on Wednesday October 14 at Altitude 360 in Central London between 9.00am and 5.30pm.
The event is intended for 200 guests and sales for early bird tickets close on Monday August 31.
