Winkworth is opening a new office in one of the UK’s most affluent places – Guildford, the county town of Surrey.
It brings the total number of Winkworth offices to 93 in the UK alone and is the fifth opening of the year for the company, in addition to a master franchise agreement in India.
The office in Guildford, where there is a considerable high street presence by agents, will be owned and run by James Quantrell, who has experience both in estate agency and operating his own business.
Guildford has the third highest number of million-pound houses in the UK, behind London and Richmond.
Its average house price is £640,688.
