Once again, we must warn about David Watmuff, sometimes known as David Kelso or David Kit Kelso.
Last November, Watmuff was jailed under the name of David Kit Kelso.
His usual modus operandi is to appear in estate agents’ offices as a buyer with substantial funds.
He has popped up in various parts of the country, and also in letting agents’ offices, where he may suggest he is acting for a big employer looking for corporate lets.
He is described as tall, charming, well spoken and utterly believable, and prone to making excuses when his funds fail to materialise.
Since last November’s disappearance from public view, all has been quiet on the Watmuff front.
However, a reader has drawn our attention to a response made last month on a discount letting site.
As you can see, the writer specifically warns estate agents not to get involved with him and warns that Watmuff is operating in the North-East and Lake District.
