A property described by an estate agent as a 'Total wreck!" has apparently been put on the market for £2million.

The two-bedroom house is in need of total refurbishment but has one major selling point - it is located in London's highly-desirable Kensington, hence the price tag.

Nonetheless, it is the frank description of estate agency Crayson which has drawn attention.

Although the full particulars of the property were not accessible when EAT looked at its website as the link was dead, a rotating image of the property appeared on the Crayson home page with the words 'Total wreck!' written across images of its interior.

A message next to the picture read: "Welcome to Wrecksville - this is the home of hope and the land of opportunity (well, Kensington). Are you a man or are you a mouse?"

Honesty truly is the best policy.

My favourite Roy Brooksism was "walls so damp we're putting gutters on the inside". So popular were his ads that he not only produced books of them, but even sold packs of postcards with illustrations to compliment his prose! Big T

It always worked for Roy Brooks ! I've got books full of his ST ads. 'Looks and smells like former brothel ' was typical !
