An estate agent helped save the life of a client who had a heart attack while they discussed business on the phone.

According to a report in the Manchester Evening News, sales negotiator Jamie Clement from the city's Express Estate Agency, realised the man was unwell as they spoke.

“He was telling me he was fine but he was seriously unwell. I said: ‘Forget the sale of your house – your health is more important,” Clement told the MEN.

The heart attack victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: “I didn’t want to make a fuss but Jamie made me realise it was serious and I should get treatment immediately. I cannot thank him enough really. I had been trying to ignore the signs but he was so concerned I knew I had to do something.

“He went above and beyond what many others would have done and showed that he cared. for which we are very grateful.”

Good on you Jamie! That's the first positive story I've ever heard about Express. Apart from Sir Ian Botham's glowing endorsement....
'Forget the sale of the house' Jamie says. Yeah right, I bet the poor chap was getting pestered as soon as he was out of the hospital!
If you hadn't guessed I despise these so called 'quick sale' estate agents. Lowest of the low!

Presumably the heart attack came immediately after the point in the call when Jamie told the client what his fees were?!!!
