Spicerhaart has added online TV-style commercials to its Prime salespacks.

The firm launched Prime around 18 months ago at an extra cost of £99 to sellers. The online packs include extra photos, EPC, floor plans, aerial photography, OS maps, plus environment and local information, including planning applications close to the property.

So far, over 13,000 customers to date have chosen the Prime pack, says Spicerhaart, which is now rolling out Prime Plus. This includes all the earlier information, plus a 60-second ‘TV commercial’ of the property which can be watched by prospective buyers via a computer, smartphone or tablet device, as well as on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

In addition, every home featured in Prime Plus will have a featured listing for one week on Rightmove followed by a premium listing on Rightmove for the remainder of the instruction. Prime Plus also instructs a solicitor to oversee the legal work associated with the sale of the property.

Jonathan Lay, managing director of Spicerhaart Legal Services which came up with the concept, said: “Prime has proved to be a huge success since its launch, with a 75% take-up in some areas, and we believe the new features that we have added will provide even more added value for our customers.

“It’s no longer good enough to simply have an online presence – anyone can have that – but is about giving our customers’ properties the best online presence and additional online features.”

A tv commercial style ad? More like a terrible looking mish mash slideslow of the extremely badly taken property pictures, created in 60 seconds on windows movie maker.

All this is gr8 but most vendors just want their property on RM. About 70% of listings are premium, they are worthless.
