A new online service has been launched to try and hurry up sales of cut-price second-hand properties on behalf of cashflow-starved builders.

The unsold properties were all purchased as part-exchanges by developers.

The launch is in addition to the current marketing strategy by which the part-exchange properties are already marketed by a network of ‘elite’ estate agents.

Gaynor Hooking, marketing director of New Homes Part Exchange, said the ‘Home Search’ facility allows consumers to search for hundreds of resale properties in one place and at competitive prices.

She said: “Working with our agents, we are already turning around sales in record time, taking just 4.2 weeks to secure a buyer for every resale home. By launching this addition to our site, we are offering homebuyers another avenue to finding their next home.

“Consumers visiting the site can search for a home in a specific area or price bracket and then get in direct contact with one of our sales team to arrange a viewing. The homes are priced realistically to secure a quick sale and offer consumers an excellent opportunity to secure a home at a very good price.”

New Homes Part Exchange said it will continue to work alongside its panel of agents.
