New self-employed agency brand claims international success

A new self employed agency business that launched into the UK market last month claims its success elsewhere in the world proves the efficacy of its business model.

With annual revenues of more than £500m and 20,000 partner agents, iad is already operating in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal and Mexico and has just launched a sales, Lettings and property management operation in England and Wales.

Now it’s released figures claiming that across its various territories it enjoyed revenues of 536 million euros involving 65,000 transactions during the financial year which closed on June 30.

A statement from the company, alongside the figures, says iad has more than doubled its annual revenue since 2019.

“Furthermore, there are now 20,000 agents working under the iad brand, marking an increase of almost 100 per cent since 2020” claims the company.”

Founded in France in 2008, iad says its business model is “agile, resilient and increasingly attractive to property professionals with no overheads, no need to buy a franchise, shared costs, a generous commission split, and absolute professional and financial freedom.”

It says further proof of the model’s strength is the fact that the company has just launched in Florida as well as the UK, and that it can adapt “to align with the idiosyncrasies of each nation’s market.”

In the UK the iad model offers partner agents a commission split of up to 87.8 per cent.

Additionally, agents can earn what the firm calls “significant sums” from encouraging other agents to join by way of revenue sharing.
