Agent exams boost earns by up to 4k - claim

Propertymark is appealing to school leavers to consider a career in property.

As students discover their A level results or Highers in Scotland today, the trade body has said university might not be the chosen path for all, highlighting that there are other exciting routes such as apprenticeships or industry training out there to consider.

It suggested becoming an estate or lettings agent using Propertymark Qualifications can mean “results day can be every single day.”

Recruitment agents in the sector report candidates with a certificate from Propertymark Qualifications are securing higher salaries, the organisation said.

It claims those holding Propertymark Qualifications exhibiting knowledge and expertise in the industry and can generate up to £2,000-£4,000 more in their basic pay packets, with the potential to enhance their career progression.
