Hybrid agency celebrates 13 years of survival

Franchise hybrid agency EweMove is celebrating its 13th birthday and says it’s become one of the UK’s most recognised agency networks.

It is now part of The Property Franchise Group, has around 170 franchisees across the UK and was recently named Best National Sales Agent at the EA Masters Awards for the fourth consecutive year.

In a celebratory statement it says that since its inception in 2013 it has seen large numbers of online and hybrid agencies come and go.

Some have helped change consumer expectations and contribute to increased compliance, in addition to overcoming challenges thrown at the wider industry – Brexit, Covid, and significant legislative reform.

Nick Neill, managing director, says: “The last 13 years have seen enormous change in estate agency. Technology, compliance requirements and customer expectations have all evolved significantly.”

“What has remained remarkably consistent is that property is still a people business. Customers still want trusted advice, excellent communication and somebody who genuinely cares about helping them move.

“The agents who build trust, deliver great service and become known within their local communities continue to be the ones who succeed.”
