Local media in London and the south east are reporting that seven people have been arrested following the death of a young estate agent in a car accident. 

Aliyah Hoque, 23, an agent from Redbridge, died following a crash on Good Friday, April 3.

The collision was on the M25 and involved a Heavy Goods Vehicle and three cars, one of which was Ms Hoque’s BMW.

Local online news services report that six men, aged 19 to 26, and an 18 year old woman have been rrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

They have all since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

An inquest into Ms Hoque’s death was opened at East London Coroner’s Court on Friday April 17.

Seven arrested following death of young estate agentLocal media quote a representative of the Metropolitan Police Serious Collisions Investigation Unit as saying: “Our thoughts remain with the victim’s family, loved ones and wider community.

“The family, who are being supported by specially trained officers, have asked for privacy at this difficult time.

“Our investigation continues and I would urge anyone with any information or dashcam footage, particularly of any vehicles that may have been driving erratically before the collision, to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 6459/3APR or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
