Connells Group boosts affordable housing offering

Connells Group has boosted its affordable housing offering after appoint Roy Hind as a director.

Hind has been named affordable housing director for the brand, bringing more than 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. 

He had joined Countrywide in 2020 to lead its shared ownership and affordable housing initiatives.

Hind will now help bring together the full range of services offered by the Connells Group to benefit existing and new for-profit providers, local authorities, and institutional investors. This comprehensive proposition will encompass a wide range of affordable housing services across Sequence, Countrywide, Connells Residential, and all other affiliated companies within the group.

He said: “The demand for affordable housing is growing and as the provision landscape continues to evolve, we have all of the services needed to meet those needs and challenges.

“Within the Connells Group and its various brands, we have a multitude of experts in land and property valuations, 106 agreements, planning and viability consultancy, financial services, land acquisition, conveyancing, sales and marketing, market research, lettings and management, EPC provision, asset management, commercial real estate services and much more.”
