Relocation Agent Network referrals hit record high

Referrals within the Relocation Agent Network (RAN) reached a four-year high for both the months of December and January, the brand has revealed.

Richard Durrant, managing director of RAN, said there has been a big focus on taking better advantage of referrals since acquiring the brand last year.

In many cases, he said, the referral angle just wasn’t being focused on and the awareness of its revenue potential had diminished.

He said: “We've devoted considerable time to observing our top-performing single-branch businesses, some of which have generated pipelines touching £100,000 through referrals.

"We've then translated these insights into actionable strategies for our network members.

“Our network thrives on collaboration, and while we've implemented additional training and processes to assist members, success ultimately hinges on discretionary effort which has led to us having some really honest conversations with agents and reinforcing the minimum network standards. Simply taking the RAN license for an area to lock out a competitor wasn’t going to work for us or them.

“I'm delighted to say that the response has been overwhelmingly positive. January, in particular, marked the highest performance levels we've seen since before the onset of lockdowns, with February currently trending the highest since 2019. “

Simon Whale, RAN director, added: “I couldn’t be happier the way the new team are rising to the challenge, engagement on every scale is fantastic, and that’s not just from the member agents, our supplier partners have been really throwing themselves in giving our clients exclusive money saving deals which more than pays the price of membership.”

It comes as Archer & Co has become the latest member of the Relocation Agent Network.
