Reapit trials chatbot as it shows its artificial intelligence

Reapit has unveiled a range of artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives to support agents.

The agency software provider has launched an AI-powered property descriptions tool and a support chatbot called Fi.

Reapit’s property descriptions tool automatically generates property descriptions with customisable attributes and adjectives that can be edited and added to property records.

Customers can now also interact with Reapit’s support chatbot Fi at any time of day.

Fi lives on Reapit’s all-new customer service portal and, whilst currently in beta phase, will eventually be trained on thousands of knowledge base articles to instantly reply to Reapit customers’ questions. For anybody concerned about the humans at Reapit, Fi isn’t here to replace anyone in its support team, only provide an additional 24/7 layer of support.

Matt McGown, chief product officer, Reapit, said: “Reapit’s AI product strategy has been developed to serve our customers with solutions that deliver genuine value without overhyping what we can offer.

“We will continue to explore innovative ways to incorporate AI into our platform, and we have some exciting developments on the way. But for now, I’m just delighted to see that our AI-powered property descriptions tool has generated such time and efficiency savings for our customers.”

Stuart Morris, regional vice president, customer operations, Reapit, added: “I’m very proud to introduce our chatbot Fi alongside the launch of Reapit’s new customer service portal. Our support staff have a wealth of knowledge in their heads, but they’re not available at every hour of the day and Fi will be there to give them a hand supporting our customers with their queries. If there’s a question Fi can’t answer, it will be referred immediately to the team.”

Mark Armstrong, chief executive of Reapit, said: “Reapit remains dedicated to its mission and vision of providing estate agents with cutting-edge technology solutions that make the sales, lettings and property management experience better for everyone. The future of technology is going to be heavily guided by advancements in artificial intelligence and AI presents a substantial opportunity for us to improve our operations and deliver greater value to our customers.”

The AI Description tool does not save time. You have to spend more time editing it than writing it from scratch. ReapIt needs to stop their system from crashing and freezing a dozen times a day. It would be nice if its reporting system was not so time consuming and they spent more time on improving the mediocre system they have at present rather than implementing AI that is pointless. This is a look at us piece and I am afraid for their customers a roll your eyes piece.
