Property jobs firm acquires flexible working platform

Property recruitment firm the deverellsmith group has acquired the entire issued share capital of Daisy Chain.

The transaction will see Louse Deverell-Smith’s flexible employment platform become part of her husband Andrew’s deverellsmith business.

Daisy Chain already has a proven track record connecting flexible employers across different industries with people who are seeking a job opportunity that accommodates their lifestyle.

It will remain as a separately-registered business within the deverellsmith group and Louise will remain the face of Daisy Chain while stepping into a head of engagement role.

This includes developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, partners and audiences.

Louise, who founded Daisy Chain in 2017, said: “I am thrilled to be handing over the leadership of Daisy Chain to the deverellsmith group so that it can reach its fullest potential.

“I created Daisy Chain to respond to my struggles finding flexible work and hearing my fellow mothers battle to secure jobs that could cover childcare costs and offer some flexibility.

“Despite the progress that has been made in terms of attitudes towards flexible working, there is still much work to be done in terms of helping working parents and maximise the opportunity for both employers and employees alike.”

Andrew added: “The acquisition of Daisy Chain fits into deverellsmith’s strategy to provide a holistic suite of talent solutions which stimulate positive change.

“I encourage any individual seeking flexible employment to register for the platform where they can confidently match and connect with likeminded employers.”
