It is launching Spectre AI today, which aims to speed up the production and quality of prospecting for agents.

Users will be able to use AI to write to sellers whose homes have been on the market for a defined period to sell their own services.

Agents can set the tone of voice such as professional or humorous and set prompts for how long the letter should be and reasons for using its brand instead.

The AI technology has been refined by Spectre so that the system will use appropriate agency terms and a letter is generated instantly that can be sent to prospects.

Tom Staff, co-founder of Spectre, told Estate Agent Today, that this tool could be appropriate for smaller brands who may not have a dedicated marketing person.

It is free for Spectre users or firms can also generate five letters for free online.

Staff said: “There is still a place for copywriters but we can’t pretend this technology doesn’t exist.

“There will still be a need for a person to check the messages are consistent but this is a good tool for those who don’t have time.”

He said Spectre has also looked at using AI for listing descriptions but said the technology often makes incorrect assumptions based on previous adverts.

Staff suggested there may be role for using AI to provide a better and more detailed description of a location.
