Knight Frank attracts Savills pair to launch regional new homes offering

Knight Frank has recruited two former Savills executives to launch and run its new homes team in Cheltenham.

The property consultancy and agency brand said the move would boost its regional residential development offering.

The firm has appointed former Savills associate director Sarah McKinnon, who brings 30 years of property experience, to head up the new team alongside Katy Reynolds.

Both launched Savills’ Cheltenham new homes team in 2019.

Reynolds also spent three years selling prime property at Pearsons Estate Agents in Winchester and Kingsley Evans in Cheltenham before moving to Savills.

She joins Knight Frank as a sales manager.

In recent years, McKinnon and Reynolds have been responsible for selling the largest residential schemes in Cheltenham and across Gloucester.

At Knight Frank, they will be based between Cheltenham and Cirencester, and their remit will cover developments in Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds, Worcestershire and Wiltshire.

McKinnon and Reynolds will work with clients to progress and manage major new homes schemes through the development and sales process.

Chris Priestley, head of central new homes at Knight Frank, said: “Sarah and Katy are well known in Cheltenham for their unparalleled knowledge and understanding of the local market.

“They are both trusted and highly regarded by their clients, and over the years have built up an excellent reputation for working on some of the region’s most important new developments. We’re delighted that they have joined Knight Frank to set up the new homes team in Cheltenham.”

Mark Evans, head of regional residential development and investment at Knight Frank, added: “These latest hires are part of Knight Frank’s continued growth and expansion plans in the regions.

“The appointments of Sarah and Katy bolster Knight Frank’s wider land and new homes offering, which now covers Cheltenham, Cirencester, the Cotswolds and Gloucestershire, as well as the Midlands, the Southeast, the Southwest, and Devon and Cornwall.”
