Proptech firm targets agents for new auction roles

Proptech firm iamproperty is planning a recruitment drive in 2023 for its auction business.

It has created 20 opportunities for auction specialists, which it claims may appeal to estate agents.

The new auction specialists will support estate agents to win instructions, push through sales and give their clients a great service. The role will include educating buyers and sellers on property auctions, working in partnership with agents to reach potential buyers and managing the process.

Applicants must have a minimum of 18 months property experience working within an estate agency or associated industry.

Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK as iamproperty lets staff work remotely.

Applications are open now and the new cohorts will start in January and February.

Jamie Cooke, managing director for iamproperty’s auction service iamsold, said: “We’re growing at rapid speed as more and more estate agents and consumers are choosing auction to secure their sales and get them moving faster. Auction sales are breaking records each month and it’s shaking up the market which needs to happen, so it’s a really exciting time to join our team and support agents and vendors to succeed.

“Successful candidates will take part in our auction specialist sales training academy which will guide them into the role, learning from the best in the industry and with great earning potential. It’s more than just a job - we want people to have the freedom to shape their career, be an innovator and be proud of the work they do.”
