Agency network launches app to boost member connections

The Federation of Independent Agents (FIA) has launched a new mobile app for members.

It is described as the first of its kind for an estate agency network and will give users access to their membership products and services from a smartphone device.

The app features direct contact member to member via text, mobile and email, a 'broadcast to all’ function, ability to send and receive leads, access to supplier offers and membership-inclusive products as well as direct helplines for employment and compliance advice and direct bookings for events such as FIA webinars and conferences. 

Graham Lock, founder of the FIA, said: “Our members have access to a wide variety of products and services as part of their subscription and crucially they connect with each other regularly to share ideas, have a catch-up on the market and swap leads so we wanted to make the entire experience a mobile-friendly one.

“We aim to evolve our membership offering so being mobile-friendly is a must in the modern era. We’re a progressive group and want to ensure that our members always have an advantage, especially in more challenging market conditions. 

“Having instant access to their fellow top-performing independent peers across the country is very reassuring and we’re making that even easier to access.’

“Next year could be difficult for many estate agents but our network is so strong and supportive that I’m confident we can navigate any conditions and actually thrive.
