Dragons Den duo offer agents free trial of comms info

Agents are being offered a two week free trial of a service giving mobile telephone signal strength information and broadband connectivity information for any address in the UK.

The trial is offered by rightsignal, a company set up by veteran telecoms entrepreneurs Paul Doyle and Martyn Gould who featured on BBC2’s Dragons Den last year.

The service is offered via the Homesearch platform, which was launched last summer and claims to offer “game changing” access to property data and market intelligence.

A spokesman for rightsignal says: “It is the first time we are aware that a PropTech software platform provides this level of real-time connectivity information within an app or software platform.”

After the two week free trial, the service will be available along with the rest of the Homesearch platform data for £44 a month.

Wow, another game-changer...useful for all those sales that fall through once the buyer hears about mobile phone signal strength problems!

So you're suggesting suppressing available information to get the sale over the line and get your commission?

Just tried their service, a bland website that offers very basic information on broadband and comms providers. It then requires you to visit each site individually. Uswitch allows you to compare all packages in a much easier format in one place. This is just an awkward way to sell broadband and telephone packages.
