Agency’s crisp response to the recycling crisis

Barbers Estate & Letting Agents in Shropshire doing more than most on the industry to go green.

It’s teamed up with TerraCycle, a recycling firm specialising in hard-to-recycle waste.

Now the agency’s offices in Market Drayton, Newport, Wellington/Telford and Whitchurch are all acting as collection points for The Crisp Packet Recycling Scheme.

Once collected, used crisp packets are separated by plastic type, cleaned, and extruded into plastic pellets to make new recycled products.

Barbers’ manager Richard Heath says; “We’re delighted to be involved. Not only does The Crisp Packet Recycling Scheme help promote recycling in Shropshire, the proceeds all go to charitable causes.”

Crisp packets are being collected at in Barbers’ offices and by Newport Scout Group, which is also working with TerraCycle.
