Scooting ahead of the competition

Kate Whotton, London lettings director for Hamptons, can now scoot ahead of the competition after winning a Vespa at this month's ARLA conference.

She took part in a draw run by Fully Furnished, a company providing a dress-to-let service for agents, and which sponsored the conference.

Whotton said: “I used to have a scooter in my teens and I loved it. It will definitely make it easier to nip around London, especially with the geographical challenges involved in running my ten offices.”

Alec Watt, managing director of Fully Furnished, said: “We chose the Vespa as a prize due to its iconic status and inspirational design, and because it’s about having some fun.”
