How can sales and letting agents work with Virgin Media to earn extra revenue?


By partnering with Virgin Media Home Connect, lettings and estate agents can earn extra revenue by referring new customers to us. For every successful referral that leads to a customer install, we pay commission to the partner and, we also reward the employee who submits the lead too. How many agents does Virgin Media currently partner with?

We work with over 1000 lettings and estate agents nationally, from small independent agents to much larger regional and national accounts. We have flexible terms dependent on the type of business we partner with, how many installs they generate and how many offices they have.

What sort of Virgin Media packages can agents offer clients?

We offer the full suite of packages. Virgin fibre broadband, TV, home phone and mobile packages can be offered. We always work hard to provide the best deals possible to suit the client’s needs.

What are the benefits to the renter or home-buyer?

The aim of the scheme from a tenants or home buyers perspective is to ensure they can get their Virgin Media services installed as close to their move in date as possible, and at a great price. The key to this is having a conversation with the customer as early in the moving process as possible, ideally three weeks prior to their move in date, so we can contact the customer, help them to select a package that suits their requirements and arrange an install in good time. This approach is best for the customer as they can be comfortable knowing that they don’t need to worry about their media services at a time when we know they have a lot going on. It’s also best for our estate and lettings partners to follow this approach to ensure the best conversion rate.

What’s the on-boarding process?

Signing up as a partner with Virgin Media Home Connect is simple and easy, and the process of referring customers is very straightforward.  Once an agent has registered their interest with us, we will set up a meeting with them to talk through how the partnership works, and once the partnership is agreed, we will arrange training with their employees on our personalised online referral portal so they can get started straight away. We also have a dedicated field team who will provide on-going support and training, so the partner has everything they need to be successful with Virgin Media Home Connect.
