What is ‘company name’ and what does it do?

Kremer Signs, we are the UK’s leading supplier of signage to the property sector. We design, print and deliver all forms of signage required for agents, from the residential For Sale & To Let boards through to the office fascia signage and everything in between.

What services do you offer and in what ways do you work with estate and letting agents?

All things signage! Our main bread and butter work is and always will be the design and supply of the residential For Sale and To Let boards, this work created the foundations from what the company was built from over 30 years ago.

The past 6 years has seen the company expand and evolve to where we can now also supply and install any form of office signage, this includes, office fascia’s, window displays, internal wall logos, pavement signage, wall maps etc, the possibilities are endless!

We work from very early stages and in some cases, this may even start with designing the company logo. We work careful with the agent to understand their branding, what they stand for and what they want to achieve with their signage, and with the use of our in-house design team we can help them establish the signage that best reflects their ambitions.

What makes your product different and how does it benefit agents?

When you break down the cost of marketing for agents, you will find that the supply of estate agent boards will be one of your most cost-effective tools, (we’ve seen those Rightmove fees…!).

On average, a board used at five properties will only cost you less than a cup of coffee per property, so why would you compromise quality? Once the boards are paid for, you have full management and they can be used time and time again.

This is where the real saving is, not in a cheap initial price and having to replenish the boards in six months’ time, but order quality boards that will last the test of time, and most importantly portray a professional image for your business.

At Kremer Signs we have invested heavily in three high quality large format digital printers. The correx supply itself is exclusive to Kremer Signs with a density of 750gsm which is the highest on the market for durability. We UV dry the boards after print to increase the bond between the ink and the correx which also increases the lifespan of the print. The two sheets used to make a T Board are heat welded together rather than glued (or sometimes taped…) to ensure they cannot be pulled apart whilst erected and fall subject to the elements.

This quality in product paired up with a well-oiled board management service, can maximise the longevity of your agency boards, reinforcing that fact that they are the most cost-effective form of advertising for any agent.

What is your greatest achievement in your current role and what made it so special?

From 2014 through to 2016 we were awarded Supplier of the Year at The Negotiator Awards. This award ceremony is widely recognised throughout the industry, so it was a very proud moment when picking up the awards. Last year we chose not to enter as we invested our marketing resources and time elsewhere, but this year we hope to be back with ambitions to be collecting the award once more!

What is the most satisfying part of your job?

Customer retention. At Kremer Signs we pride ourselves on great customer service and high-quality signage products. Developing long standing working relationships with our customers is the most satisfying and rewarding part of my job.

Customer retention is very important to allow the company to grow within the market place and this can only be achieved through great customer service. Maintaining customers loyalty is our number one priority, especially through these tough and uncertain times post Brexit. Make a customer not a sale (Old but Gold)

What is your property prediction for the remainder of 2018?

Being the UKs leading supplier of signage to the property sector, how well we’re doing, reflects on how active the market is. The year has started well with lots of stock coming onto the market, but it seems there’s a lack of requirement for Sold slips!

With the completion of Brexit dragging its heels it seems to be causing a lack of confidence, and for this reason it’s very hard to predict transaction levels.

I think all agents need to be smart and proactive in ensuring they are the best within their local area throughout this uncertain time. Now more than ever, customer service will be under the spot light.
