A spokeswoman for Humberts - which with parent company Chestertons was a founder of Agents' Mutual - says the agency is retaining Rightmove as its portal of choice when it lists on the new AM website OnTheMarket.
A statement issued yesterday from the firm also included a quote from Ian Westerling, managing director of Humberts, saying: Onthemarket.com is clearly going to be a game-changer in the property portal sector and we firmly believe that it will help us expose our properties to the widest possible audience.
The statement also says OnTheMarket.com has already secured 4,000 members and intends to increase their [sic] publicity in the run up to the launch.
Humberts' decision to drop Zoopla was taken because Rightmove has consistently driven some excellent leads to our branch network and is committed to developing their [sic] offering to support our business according to the statement.
Throughout the Christmas period EAT has been running a summary of readers' views on the new Agents' Mutual portal, expressed in EAT's survey which ran throughout 2014.
The first part of the survey, which is still available to read, looked at which of the two existing main portals agents would retain if they were also to advertise on the new portal, OnTheMarket.
The second question of the survey - available from today on our Industry Views section - asked participants if they were In, Out or On the fence when it comes to the Agents' Mutual proposition. The views make a fascinating read.

Looks like RIgHTMOVE created onthemarket to get rid of zoopla,,idiot estate agents staying with the portal they apparently started onthemarket to get rid of.....sounds like a bank/london/ jobs for the boys story the more i hear.
