Gumtree has announced the launch of its first official app for Android in the UK, meaning that users who use the site for rental properties and homes for sale will have access to some 206,000 property listings on their smartphones.
Gumtree claims 1.3m tenants and house hunters regularly use the Gumtree website.
The app means that they will be able to contact the advertisers – private sellers and landlords, and agents – directly.

@JS: That is because people will always be stupid. That's why scammers and fraudsters make money all over the world through different businesses.
It is actually 206,000. :-)
It's a great place to find amazing properties at less than half the price they're being advertised at on the portals. Oh wait.
It's bloody chock full of scams and somehow still catches people out.
