Peter Everett has resigned from his role as general manager at software firm CFP after only six months.
He joined the Cornish-based firm, which is part of the Guardian’s Property Services Group, only last October, having previously worked for Hamptons, Your Move and, briefly, the Live Organisation.
He is returning to residential estate agency with former employer Hamptons.
A spokeswoman for Guardian Media Property Services Group, which also owns Core and Vebra, said: “We would like to thank Peter for his contribution during the short period of time he has been with us.”
Everett’s resignation follows the departure last month of Geoff Core, founder of Core.

Appears that it's in an official GMG press release, oh the joy....
I don't know or care but it is a long walk from Redruth. The Twitter was probably ghost written and not checked or it was re-hashed stuff from an old newsletter. Either way selling advertising space in Country Life has to be easier than running a software company.
And what an observation.....! So did Peter walk, or was he pushed? The former I suspect.
