Zoopla been named as one of the top ten tech companies in the UK on Guardian’s Tech Media Invest 100 list 2010, sponsored by Kemp Little and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The Guardian says the list showcases entrepreneurial companies that are developing innovative new ways to serve businesses and consumers.

Additionally, Zoopla has also been nominated for the Kemp Little Innovation Award, the winner of which will be revealed at the Tech Media Invest 2010 event on October 18.

Zoopla, which gives users free access to instant valuation estimates on any property, is the only property portal to be named in the Guardian’s top 100.

    What is Zoopla.
I have just taken a look and it looks like they are trying to promote vendor self valuation, what a ridiculous idea and a very dangerous one. This will completely distort figures.
Are they part owned by the Guardian? as apparently they bought their Thinkproperty portal. This sounds like you scratch our back and we'll scratch yours.

    Nice cheeky ad there Sue,

You should’ve done a press release to EAT and got your own headline rather than having to play second fiddle to Zoopla

We'd like to offer our congratulations to Zoopla - it's great to see them at the top of the list. Having made the list ourselves, Upad is very happy to be in such good company.
