Around 150 Team members packed into the association’s highly successful spring conference in Exeter.

Hosted by specialist trainer Richard Rawlings, and jointly sponsored by the Digital Property Group, MyHomeMove and the association’s technology partners, Resource Techniques, the event featured Dennis Turner, chief economist at HSBC, and Adrian Webster, a motivational speaker.

Team members heard of a new deal with HomeLet that offers them savings of up to 50% on referencing services.

Attendees also heard Richard Rawlings talking about the opportunities to earn additional fees by acting for buyers.

Team chairman Neil Parsons said: “For me, the most striking feature of the event was the positive mood that prevailed throughout – such a contrast to all the doom and gloom being bandied about elsewhere. Many members rated it the best conference.”

Crumbs, it does whiff of an advert and not a very good one.

……however, as funny and old school Team agents are and as much as they are run by old blokes in offices with a bit of a farty aroma and they give up long established reliable branding for that cloud thing that never seems to quite work on fascias / boards or in print, one thing they all seem to have in common is their customers and more importantly their bank managers love them all.

So don’t go taking the mickey out of them!

Richard Rawlings on the other hand seems to have mis read an invitation to pay for a slot as a sure fire deal that they will all become buyers agents very soon, most of them are just getting to grips with fax machines so innovation is not what they are known for.
