It’s the website of the year (which makes EAT very jealous) and its guide for first-time buyers was (apparently) updated only yesterday afternoon.
So, should first-time buyers really be aware, courtesy of Thisismoney, that all homes for sale have to have Home Information Packs?

There is now a comment pointing this out on the website but it only has two green arrows - time to increease that number?
Top of the article says:
"First-time buyers need all the help they can get, so read our guide to getting a foot on the property ladder and buying your first home (guide first published in May 2009)."
It does not say when, or if ever, its been updated.
Bit of a glaring error from 'the financial website of the year'
They must work for Grant (no brain) Shaps.
Typical of wasters who think they can come along and tell the public what to do and look for in an industry where they actually know zip.
Its these people who give us good guys a bad name.
This is nothing unusual. Probably a little person typing away dodgy content in a little office in Bangalore to attract potential first time buyers to a page crammed with paid advertising. Best policy - don't always believe what you read on an untrusted website!
Try to comment on it and it will not show it either.
Definately faux pas day today.
So it's true!
It must be: I read it in the Mail.
HIPs were not stopped after all!
It's all been a terrible mistake!
We've been dreaming the last 18 months.
Nothing bad has happened after all!
It was all the stuff of knighthoods, sorry nightmares.
